trees in winter
white on white on white
blinding emptiness all around
lost in acidous snow, never found
alone, craving for eternity.
deep-frozen feelings
whirling with the bone-cold storms
pulse of earth is slowing
polar fever devastating my heart
alone, yearning to freeze.
deathly grey-white night
no sign of warmth in this night of wintery souls
universe must seize to speak
tornadoes of blue fire tearing it to pieces
alone, hoping to see no more.
nature hoping for spring
feeling saviour coming though even hope is frozen
blue-white ice-stalagtites spaering my soul
still keeping my spirit at guard
alone, feeling life radiate again.
